To Serve and Protect

Luther wants to become a cop to change the system from within. On his last day as a security guard, though, he finds himself pepper sprayed and in jail, relying on a network of friends — on the force and off — to bail him out. His unrelenting optimism is constantly put to the test, whether by his anti-establishment, anti-authority, and anti-everyone-who-disagrees-with-him best friend or by the moral dilemmas Luther faces during police training. Luther is resolved to making the world a better place, and he stays true to his principles, down to the bitter end. “To Serve and Protect” is a socio-political satire inspired by true events and dedicated to highlighting the dark absurdity of a divisive and deeply flawed system of justice.
