Brothers From the Suburbs

Brothers From the Suburbs is a digital comedy series that chronicles the highs and lows of three black and brown teenagers coming of age in an affluent, suburban, white private school community. The series takes a moment to poke fun at the clumsiness of teenage years, exacerbated by racial differences and identity issues.

Each of the Brothers embodies a different side of the teenage quest for identity. As they take their first steps into adulthood, each character experiences significant incidents that shape their future, and change their understanding of the world outside their community. These thrilling, awkward, and difficult formative experiences are made more challenging and unique based on who they are—and how they look.

From outright prejudice to teenage romance, on to heartbreak, horror, and marijuana induced paranoia. The brothers take their steps into a larger world, trying to understand who they really are and become comfortable in their own skin.
