Adventure Capital

Jake D. Williamson stars as HALE HILL, the former king of his Wall Street office. He closed the biggest deals, hosted the office parties, and was the office bookie for large betting on absolutely ridiculous competitions that were unbeknownst to the bettors, fixed. He is the successful office scumbag, that every man hates, yet wants to be, and most women regret sleeping with the morning after.

After being fired from his cushy Wall Street job for closing a huge deal by getting the other party blacked out drunk, he finds himself at an identity crisis, of what to do next. He and close friend and now former colleague ROSE (Katie Wieland) stumble upon a Squimig (a mash-up of dodge ball and Harry Potter’s Quidditch) league playing in the park, where Hale finds out the league is looking for financial backing. In desperate need of money, Hale spends all night reading the books, drinking beer, and creating a shady, and unsustainable business plan that only Hale will profit from.

Hale moves to create the first professional Squimig league by exploiting the game’s deeply nerdy, and enthusiastic players, the Westside Warlox, albeit with much hesitation from the Head Warlock, Greyon (Britt Chandler Johnson).
